Rara Paltinis

On the first day Thursday evening) everything was perfect- service and food. We should have let it at it. We were so happy and we made the biggest mistake and came on Friday evening too. On arriving we were announced that it will minutes to write down the order, but they were so slow in writing that it took minutes. After it, we waited for minutes for a soup. Gulas was good but definitely too cold for degrees temperature outside. Fasole soup was mediocre. And now the fun begins- in the understanding of the cooker of Rara, bulz is extremely hot mamaliga, just spread across the pot and one spoon of smantana in it. Tochitura ardeleneasca, I could never imagine that you can fry pork and then you can put it in a source made out of tomato paste... After this, will you go to this Rara again?

A little bit on the expensive side, but normal for the area. We were people and we ordered burgers and traditional food. The food was excellent, the service fast and the waiter was relaxed and always smilling. A really good experience. Will come back.

First,I would like to tell you what I m working in hotel and I saw in last professional years many locations.This is the best pension in Romania.First the administrator it is implicated and you can see this in every detail.The room is spacious very...clean ,the bed is very comfortable and the linen is similar to Hilton.The bathroom is new ,renovated.The restaurant is good with tasty food.And .finally very important the staff is very implicated and the location in near the slope!Sincerlly plus!Congratulations!

Coaste de porc, ciorba de pui a la grec, tigaie picantă pulpa de rata, aripi de pui cu cartofi crispy si sos de mujdei, toate foarte gustoase pebtru copii si adulti!

Situated on the ground level of the hotel, the restaurant has all the ingredients to be a hot spot of the area: good building, interesting menu, proficient waiters.However it is in dire need for better organization:In the evening they were pretty crowded, so the waiters passed over my head with the menu charts 2 times, while complaining that they do not have the time to bring the menus. The food was good, the lemonade-excellent. We considered ourselves lucky, as a couple that came 5 minutes after us was flatly refused service.Next day, at lunch, they were not crowded, so the service was very good. Unfortunately, half of my medium steak was simply raw!!And on both occasions the specialties were missing from the menu!
