Atlantis - Panajachel

On May 7th, 2022, I visited this amazing restaurant with my friend after arriving in Panajachel. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian options and are accommodating to modifications. I didn't try the vegan breakfast option, but it looked delicious! I ordered the vegetarian burrito without cheese and it was fantastic.

My first experience at Atlantis was great. We ordered the vegetarian pizza without cheese and nachos with guacamole. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and willing to make accommodations. There are plenty of vegan options available. We will definitely be returning.

The Atlantis is a fantastic spot to catch a major soccer match or grab a drink. However, it falls short when it comes to vegan options. Despite offering a limited vegetarian menu, many dishes contain cheese or butter. They can accommodate a cheese-free pizza, but it is overpriced and lacks quality. For a better pizza experience, head to the Circus Bar up the street. The owners are welcoming, but the staff may be hit or miss.
