El Trapiche - Panama

Excellent restaurant. Do yourself a favor, and order the Ropa Vieja. Get it as a main dish, a patacon appetizer, or as a sandwich, with hojandra bread. It is amazing. I've eaten Ropa Vieja all my life, and this ranks up with some of the best I've ever had.

One of my most favorite places of Panamanian food, is cheap and good and something I have to say their service is very good, never disrespectful and the best prices, good portions, many options.

Great service, had the original Panamanian cuisine. I never had Panamanian cuisine before, so I couldn't really compare it to something that I know. All in all it's just okay

A must stop for local food. A lot is fried but all was good. Probably gained a few pounds.

I've got to be honest, I was a little skeptical about this restaurant. After having dined there, it's pretty good. I can't say it's my favorite place I ate while in Panama City, but it was pretty solid Panamanian food.
