En La Fonda, Panamá

This was awesome, I have never experienced a Fonda. The history of the food, culture and restaurant was awesome

Was taken here by a friend that lives in Panama for breakfast fantastic food

Overall we had a really great time. Food- menu is in several languages and offering traditional Panamanian cuisine. Everything we had was good portion sizes, flavorful, and good presentation. Service- everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. There was a language barrier but shoutout to Mariella for taking great care of us. Vibes- it was a lively dining experience. There was Panamanian dancing and singing, audience interactions, patty bus, a DJ, and later karaoke. Decor- colorful and vibrant. Great for groups, families, friends, anyone looking for an experience. My only negative was that it took 45 minutes for them to bring our checks to us. If you’re going to Panama City, make a reservation and check it out!

En La Fonda was a wonderful experience! My best friend and our moms had a great time here- we danced, we sang and ate till we were full. The staff were super helpful and involved us all in their activities. The place was very beautifully decorated but the food wasn't great- underseasoned and overcooked for some, but it was nice trying some authentic Panamanian food. We had a really great time there.

The food was surpringly delicious. The music was very loud, which is the point of this place . Our server did a good job juggling many tables. There were beautiful dancers that twirl around all of the tables and make a for a great dinner show. Even if you are seated at a table in the back you still get to see the dancers up close. Their intricate costumes are very pretty. An enjoyable evening, but bring earplugs if you are sensitive to loud music. Great place!
