My partner and I spent two nights in Panama City and carefully chose which restaurant to dine at. We were grateful that we chose Oaks Restaurant as it was an amazing experience overall - from the food, ambiance, to the service. The highlight of our evening was when Chef Avi Barak personally served our table and gave us menu recommendations. His passion and dedication to his craft were evident in the delicious dishes he created. We highly recommend trying the white fish with risotto and pumpkin, the shredded lamb with yogurt sauce, and the chocolate trio dessert. Our visit to Oaks was unforgettable and we are grateful to the staff for making it so special. Chef Avi Barak and his team are truly an inspiration.
The restaurant is cozy and the food quality is fantastic.
The service and food at this restaurant are excellent! I particularly enjoyed the appetizer. The lamb skewer, while it is tempting to order lamb on a Middle Eastern inspired menu, was a bit tough and chewy which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. The chef also brought out some delicious small plates before the lamb dish arrived.
