Our visit to the Central Hotel and specifically to the Bistró Café has been memorable. Not only is the food delicious (burrata, salmon, polenta) but the drinks are special as well. The “niebla celestial” drink is a must, it activates all your senses. As if that is not enough, the service is superb. Jaime Ruiz anticipates your needs with promptness and elegance. When he found out we were from Puerto Rico, he took to the microphone and sang to us songs from our Island as a true professional. The singer and guitarist, Giovanni, is a talented musician that can interpret songs from the US, Latin America and Spain with excellent vocalization. Make sure you request Flamenco style songs to appreciate his skills and energy. We strongly recommend you spend at least one night at the Bistró Café, you won’t regret it.

Amazing food, the Panamanian and international food fusion style was amazing, the host Javier was extraordinary and the atmosphere was great.

The most beautiful setting in the old town overlooking the sea and with a view of Panama’s spectacular skyline. Well worth a visit. The food once it did come was good, but I have to say the place is pricey. The service could have been better. The food took too long to come.

Excellent! The steak was delicious as was the salmon and the mushrooms are amazing! The presentation is beautiful and the ambience is nice. They had a nice singer performing light music. Would definitely go back here!
