The Boars Head Tavern

We had an excellent dinner and a fantastic service from Simone. She recommended the scamp and my husband had the main rib. The food was delicious!! My daughter is almost two and is very friendly. Every employee spoke to her as she told her hi and bye to each of them. We love to come here when we visit PCB and Simone made our night even better!

Food service was very good. The early bird portions were just a little too small. Even the appetizer was smaller.

It really could be a nice place, but it needs a major update. It's just not clean, furniture is outdated, smells old. Food was just meh...plus there was nobody. Felt like a haunted house. Staff was nice and courteous. It's still a tad better than all the over priced fried food places around.

When we arrived the restaurant was suspiciously empty with no wait for our party of 11. We thought we were fortuitous but we soon found out the reason why no one was there on a Saturday. The wait staff was great they we're friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. They were always quick to refill our glasses. After ordering, the food took 40 minutes to arrive. The dishes were under seasoned and undercooked. It was a disappointment especially for the price. This was my first time to Panama City Beach but if I should return I have no plans of eating at this restaurant again. I would not recommend it.

It was recommended for me to visit this restaurant, however I was extremely disappointed. My husband and I both ordered the aged prime rib, and it was quite dry and unsavory. The salad prior to our meal was limp and not crisp. I've been to upscale restaurants and unfortunately this does not come close. When the manager arrived to my table to see about my concern he was quite snarky and unapologetic; I don't need you to tell me how long you have been in business and that you've never had any issues! Customer service skills needed badly. The only good thing about our visit was our server.
