Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We have been in panama for about 2 weeks and have eaten twice here. both of them I would say was poor, the service was bad and we had to wait for refills. the second time we went, just because I had believed the cookies and apple butter, I ordered my food: chicken fried steak with two sides. before our appetizer came to our table, I asked the waitress if I could add another page to my job (brukkoli and cheese casserole) because there is an option of two pages and three pages and she said no to me, we only do on Wednesday. I laughed because I thought she would only sweat since, and it was again as I said today she would not have been doing well. I don't care if you need to change the ticket or charge me. when someone decides to eat in a restaurant, when are they said no? if someone adds to their order when they say no? I wouldn't recommend it here.

Country Style Cooking is my Fav! Had great food here and not so great food. It's kind of unconsistent. I'll give him four? Just because I generally love food.

After sitting we waited for almost 20 minutes for drinks, then order another 20 minutes. we were there almost 2 hours trying to get breakfast....if someone left...another server told us that our was new so that I was the server something slack.....but the manager has made several rounds, had to notice us, but never once by, though was a lot of chatty with all others....we will not stop again, but I hope the server has better days. 2 stars instead of giving because eating was really good when we got it.

Due to the Covid sessions was limited. Server was very slow with beverage refills. My glass reflects my tip.

The wait to be seated was long but that?s expected with short staffed restaurants since Covid. After seated, we waited a good 15 minutes to even see our waitress. After ordering our food came out decently quickly. Our problem was the food quality. The greens were DRY, like grass in the summer dry. We couldn?t eat them. Asked for it to be taken off and after waiting 20 minutes for a new ticket just got up and paid. The hash brown casserole was cold, chicken n dumplings flavorless, silverware dirty, and waitress none existent. I gave it two stars because some of our food was good (meatloaf, fries, okra, biscuits, apples). Won?t be back.
