Sonny Boys Bbq - Panguitch

My first go with Sonny Boy's barbecue was at the Cedar city store on Main Street. Later they opened a store in St. George/Hurricane Utah which was closer to where I lived; that was awesome. It was really good. I would go there more often if I lived near a store currently. Very good quality meats done well. Soft and flavorful. Sides are excellent. I recommend.

First of all the overall impression was that the staff seemed inexperienced and did not seem to communicate. Even though there was several tables available, we were seated right next to an open balcony door. The food was okay, however it was very overpriced. There were no menus for either drinks or food. The food was instead presented on a small white board. The number of available dishes was limited. The staff was to casually dressed which did not give a very professional impression. Also the drinks were overpriced. I would not recommend anyone with the option of going to another restaurant to eat here.

Stay away. 'nuff said. I 've had better frozen food. Menu is on a white board. Soup is from a can. Beer selection poor. I was desperate, since everything else was closed. Even so, I 'm sorely disappointed in the food.
