We ordered deep fried squid, mixed tom yum soup, hawaii pizza, main dishes seabass, fish and chips and chicken chop. Among all these main dishes, chicken chop is okay but all the fish dishes smell bad. Total spent RM198. Expensive and taste bad. Truly not recommend.
I went to the main street restaurant, which is linked to the beach front next door to the hotel (you can walk through a creepy back alley to get to either or . The main street one is located opposite Shell Out. Food was good. Really enjoyed the Teh Ais, also. Got the Set Menu A for 67RM for two (as in it's 67 total, not each! . Fish was tasty, curry was not bad but I find chicken in Malaysia different. The egg omelette was great. Simple but great. Service staff are super young so may seem unattentive or distracted but they are nice and polite otherwise. Place got busy after 9pm so go earlier. Didn't seem like an overly popular place with tourists, but don't let that fool you. Food was perfectly good here!
Ridiculously slow service eventhough there were very few customers. Staffs need at least basic training. Foods were well below average, lacks of flavour, soups were too watery, char kuew teow taste exactly like soy sauce nothing more, all drinks we ordered were too sweet. Prices shown on the menu were not updated. Better buy foods from other restaurants or even from fast food restaurants and enjoy it on the beach side.
Both of us came here and ordered Malay food set called Set Romeo Juliet (RM67) that consisted of the menu as in the picture. The taste was average and the chicken tom yam was sour and the portion was small for two. The 3 rasa seabass also lacked the sweet taste from the fresh pineapple slices. Only sour and a bit spicy. This set also didn't include any beverage so need to top up for that. The waiter service also was slow and did not respond accordingly to the patrons. I think we only pay this because of the view of the restaurant is facing the Cenang beach.
We came across this place while looking for a place to eat Ikan Bakar (BBQ fish). It was definitely worth it! On our first visit, we had the Ikan Bakar, egg omelette, kailan Ikan masin, Tom yum soup and fried squid. Next visit we had additional BBQ prawns and BBQ squid. The price range is definitely reasonable. The food is delicious! Was also told that BBQ items would only begin from 7:30PM onwards for dinner. You’d have to wait for at least 30mins but it is worth the wait. Would recommend the BBQ dishes and kailan Ikan masin.
