Das Arkadenhaus - Papenburg

I was here on a business trip to the Meyer Werft shipyard ship in the city. Not sure why Trip does not list this as a hotel and not just as a restaurant. It is a modern hotel like electronic shower and spacious rooms. WiFi also worked well. The restaurant served food at an evening event and everything was quite delicious. The breakfast buffet was also extensive, from a German POV ( grapes, cheese, bread, smoked salmon, unlike omelets). Would you recommend when you come to business on MW.

Stay here today. Parking is around the back of the hotel, which is missing. Perhaps the service could have been better overall, as the check-out was a wait. The room was very nice and modern. Digital shower. Also a beautiful light feature. Maybe the day I visited it could have been more competitive, but wanted to try. Even had dinner, which was good. Breakfast was made in the food dish that is new, but I would have preferred a normal format.

Stay at the hotel very clean modern rooms with all small touches. Eat in the dining area again modern the food was fresh and delicious. The design of the light beer was also of great standard.

Great food and atmosphere and would return again in a flash. Pork belly was to die for. Craft beer was very nice and staff were very attentive.

The place as a restaurant was not nice, I loath these palces and as I was there to have dinner on my own I would have preferred a more resturanty place. Service was 100% ok, food was very nice and the beef cooked just as I asked for, the dessert again very nice. Value for the money, definitely.
