Don Luigi's Trattoria Pizzeria - Paphos

Was disappointed by this place. From the outside it looks like an authentic Italian place. They even have a proper pizza oven which is generally a good sign. But when we arrived they took a long time to take our order. Then we were waiting for around 45mins for our food. When the food arrived it was OK, all edible but not what I was expecting. The pizza was almost like a pizzahut pizza (thick doughy base and loaded with toppings). The pasta was ok, but again far from authentic. The staff were all lovely so can't fault that and the atmosphere and decor were both nice but I won't be returning.

Double check receipts! Tried to charge for pizza Capricciosa instead of salad Caprese. Not a big deal, EUR 6.00 only.

Sometimes, the most basic meal can surprise you and turn out to be the best dish of your vacation. This restaurant truly is a paradise for carnivores and vegetarians alike. Last night, I had a wonderful meal after a long day hiking. My veggie partner enjoyed the black salmon dish just as much. But tonight, the pasta dish I ordered was absolutely fantastic. I was so impressed that I forgot to take a picture before digging in. The pizza at the table next to us also looked delicious. It was a pleasant surprise to find such tasty food here.

I ordered a large pizza with high-quality ingredients to-go and was impressed by the quick and helpful service from the staff. The price I paid was very reasonable and I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The first night, we ordered the chicken nuggets for our son, thinking they were homemade. However, when we asked, they admitted they were not. They did not charge us for them, which was fair. Our second visit was fantastic. The fish fillet for our son was excellent, and both of our dishes were delicious. I would recommend sticking to the pizza and pasta dishes.
