Let me tell you all about our experience today at Anthony's cucina. i take my hat off to them all. Ok so lets start at the beginning..out of all the tripadvisor and google best italian restaurants i picked Anthony's...Saturday i ring to make a booking for Sunday lunch for 14 people..in this conversation i warned them i had 3 visitors from Italy and i needed to impress badly coz if anyone knows italians mate they are fussy with their food.....ok so we all happily rock up at the restaurant at 12.30...and there is all this commotion..i am confused..i had a waiter greet us immediately saying... and the phone was ringing annoyingly at the sametime ...guess what happened...they had a black out..thats right..good on SA ..no power..poor buggers were frantic..i said hey listen do not stress..just tell me what you cant do..they said pizzas..huh what hang on..you cant do pizzas but you still can do meat seafood and pasta..yes..ok lets do it and make the best of this situation..poor Monique i hope her bosses pay her enough coz the stress on her face priceless.. now also a huge shout out and thank you to Matt...he attended to the italians brilliantly and as an added bonus he himself is italian and spoke to them better italian than what i could have ever...ok so full restaurant.. i mean full and the staff delivered and delivered beyond all expectations...power came on i reckon about 1hr and a half later with an applause from all patrons that were eating there..food was in fine form service impeccable and you know what i can not fault this place in any way..feed back from the italians they were very happy all the way round..a memorable outing that no one will forget and with a smile in their memory..so give this place a try i truly recommend..forewarn if you have visitors overseas coming ..give Anthony's the chance to be prepared and make the most of it..also the restaurant was clean not daggy or run down...Suzi...buono mangiare

Excellent service & excellent cuisine. Ample parking at the back. Reservation is a must. The staff were all the time checking to see if we needed anything or if the food was to our satisfaction. I never had pasta as hot as this and such big portions and so much crab in the pasta. Will recommend the Linguine alla Granchio. Really to die for!
