My husband and I was visiting south of France and my daughter in law brought us there. We had roasted chicken with vegetable for lunch. The chicken was so delicious I wanted to go back again for more. We finished the meal with a wonderful...assorted cheese plater. I highly recommend you book ahead of time because it's very busy!
Our second visit to the bistro and a few dinge had changed. first, it is significantly more business / more popular, the clientele is better sawed and the outside terrace is the main dining area (instead of the charming interieur.) what remained consistent is the solid...Menu (a part of the choice of desserts,) the fabulous cheese table, the bottomlessness of the wine supply (and its quality) and the attentive and cheerful service. we ate on a Thursday apparently aioli day. the main course was easy that a feisty and stablishing aioli accompanied roast baits, sweet and a next-judge by escargots. it looked terrible. it tasted great. all the other aspekte of eating were perfection itself and the atmosphere and the ambiente is not too short. it was fabulous to sit in the sun and enjoy a chilled pastis during the consideration of what was to come; it was wonderful and commenting worthy while it took, and now a week or so after it has become completely unforgettable. can not wait until the next opportunity and will be more budding up to this point.
Underwhelming and badly cooked local cuisine. we expected better, but the reality is really hard hit. the device is clearly a place to be “seen” instead of a place of good Provencal eating. the menu of aioli with cadjau and vegetables lacked clearly in both presentations...and quality with undercooked vegetables and overbaked cadjau. the dessert was so under the quality of the local mcdonalds, a mass produced via sugar concoction that lacked taste and identity, should it be a flatante, not a sick marshmallow surrounded by cream anglais. the cheeseboard was expansiw, pampered by a lack of fruit, dried or otherwise, while the brot had passed before its best two days ago. not recommended, much better elsewhere and €128 for two to midday is exaggerated.
This is what they want when visiting the Provence: eat that reflects the local cuisine, from clear fresh ingredients, served by a charming and cheerful group that are attentive, without clogging - and a fabulous wine list. I would come back here (really I would eat here. three times a week if I could. had the escargot (perfect , the huh (a signature court and deserves so, and the Marron-Gletscher dessert (as if it would be too much and it was not. .
