Feedback gevenWe had a meal with a large group of people in roulettes 29/04/2022 and were asked by the administration to use the menu app on every table to order all drinks and food. the app first place was not easy to load and required. many information including details of their credit card. the ordering with the app was also very unfriendly as they had to log back to the app every time they placed and order for food or drinks. to insult what turns out to be a difficult effort to get a drink, my bank statement now shows that every time we order, we were charged a card service charge between 7-14 cent when ordering a glass beer. what a hidden charge to tear off. give roulettes a miss if they want to pay with their credit card.
Family dinner came up so I checked the menu and tried osso bucco on the recommendation of the friendly staff. happy good winter food. with bleasdale malbec. unnecessary to say that we all ate well on special family dinner.
I have never given a restaurant 5 stars before, but Roulette's Tavern was the exception to the rule. The staff were incredibly attentive and the attention to detail in both the food and drinks exceeded our expectations. Our dining experience tonight was 110% better than any other restaurant we have visited in the past 12 months. A big thank you to all the staff who took care of us. It was worth every penny and overall, an impeccable, gastronomic evening!
We visited on a very busy Saturday night. we were warmly welcomed and our table. the waiters were happy and friendly. our food came immediately and as described. eating was really nice. we found out later in the evening that they were heavy. under hired..we hadn't known that the service was brilliant. what a hidden gem. it was our first time, but not our last.
I don 't normally write reviews but I felt compelled to do so after my experience at Roulette 's. I was having a little flutter in the gaming room this morning and I witnessed an absolute ogre of a man shouting abuse at this poor woman (I...suspect the covid marshall) for simply doing her job. The language he was using was disgusting and the way this lady handled the situation was truly remarkable. She stayed calm and professional whilst also standing her ground and letting him know 'who was boss '. It did get me wondering though, do the staff have to put up with this? When I voiced my concerns to her she assured me if she wanted to kick him out she could have as she had the 100% backing from her bosses however, she said in a quiet tone, she would get more satisfaction watching him lose his money!! She made my day and no longer am I annoyed you don 't have free coffee because you certainly make up for it in customer service! A true hospitality superstar and a credit to your business! She was running around serving at the bar, answering phones, doing her gaming duties as well as her COVID19 duties and did not seem phased one bit by this horrible customer. I will be back even though I lost my money!!!
