My kids also enjoy all the gluten-free treat options! It's always a pleasure to visit, even though it's quite a distance for us. It's definitely worth the trip!
This restaurant never disappoints. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and funny. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic bagels—especially since I’m quite a picky eater. My favorite item is the Veggie Cream Cheese; it's absolutely amazing!
Thank you for providing my daughter with a wonderful gluten-free bagel option! The gluten-free desserts are great as well. We make the trip from New Milford twice a month to enjoy your food. Thanks again, and we'll see you soon!
My main issue is how they overcharge customers. I've picked up breakfast for myself and a coworker about five times, while he's gone in about three times. Each time, we've felt the prices were high but brushed it off, assuming it was due to our orders. Recently, I went in to grab two sandwiches along with a small cookie and ended up paying over $20 without thinking too much about it. Once I got to work and thought about it, I realized how excessive that total was. I called the store to inquire about the charges. Even though the person on the line seemed a bit annoyed—likely because they were busy—he answered my questions. I explained that I'd ordered lox, tomato, and avocado on a mini toasted bagel, but the bagel had no tomato and wasn’t toasted. He told me to come back for a replacement, but I was at work and couldn’t do that. I asked him how much the mini bagel was, and he said it was around $6. I inquired about the Taylor ham on a bagel, and he again said it was about $6. I asked why my total was $20 and change, considering a cookie and tax shouldn't contribute that much. He repeated to come back for a refund, but I was still at work. Reflecting on previous visits, I realized we weren't getting what we ordered each time, which is really disappointing. Not only is this place overpriced, but they also take advantage of customers who aren't vigilant with their orders. There are far better bagel shops in the area, and I would highly recommend Paramus Bagel over this one any day.
I used to visit this store for WHOS Gluten Free products, but I've noticed they no longer carry them. It feels like they were not upfront about discontinuing these products, which comes across as a bit questionable and dishonest.
