Burgerfuel Kapiti Coast - Paraparaumu

Previously I have scored 5 stars. Sadly tonight staff were very busy and I presume our order was left sitting (we were eating in while the kumara fries cooked. The fries were piping hot but two of our three burgers were close enough to cold. The burgers potential was not reached, however, hunger ruled and we ate them. I would not choose a Friday night to eat at Kapiti BF in future. (We arrived around 5.50 p.m.

Generally pretty good but sometimes the burgers smell like they've been tainted with chemicals. I think someone is wiping down the cooking equipment with a rag that has cleaning fluid still on it and it's tainting the burgers. Also, orders in bags are sometimes left open on the counter which is not the best either. Would be great if someone spoke to staff about these issues.

Have no issue with the food which is always awesome but I walked in and the store was empty. 2 staff way at the back talking. Waited for a few minutes and then another customer walked in. Waited another couple of minutes still no serve, still talking at back of store. Finally shouted Hello to try and get attention. Finally got served. If you have to have all your staff at the back of the store at least put a bell in so we can try and get service

Got a couple of burgers as couldn't be arsed cooking! Ordered via app with no issues an ready at allotted time. Great tastes am very filling.

Tried o phone in an order while driving south. Phone rang and rang and rang. No answer. Tried with no luck for 20 minutes on our journey approach. Tried to order online but had no luck there either. Met with a near empty restaurant perhaps 4-6 patrons. Staff claimed it was really busy before but no apology. In New Plymouth burger king, the staff still answer the phone when its busy. Lucky you make tasty food.
