Aquarius - Paris

Having lived previously in the US and the UK I thought an entree might be enough for a light lunch but it's actually much smaller in size so you would need either a main or two entrees. Turns out, being a small establishment, you are not allowed to only order an entree anyway! I had come here 10 years ago and remembered loving the food. Today the food we ordered was simple but tasty. I tried something called a pate vegetale which was unusual but grew on me, much like the small slices of seeded bread they served with lunch. The soup was simple and slightly underseasoned for my taste but still 4 star category, as was the tartiflette aux legumes. What pushed this from 4 to 5 star for me was the dessert. I had always heard their desserts were amazing but today was the first time I tried it. That was hands down the best Tiramisu I have ever eaten, light with a perfect balance of taste and texture and not over sweet! Tip: When you come here, the most important thing to remember is you have to keep place for dessert!

Opened since 1980, probably the oldest vegetarian restaurant in Paris! Tried the daily menu, the portion is big and you get a variety of dishes. Very crowded during dinner, better call for reservation.

I first went to this restaurant in June 2014. Trying to find a good vegetarian place for a friend near his hotel in Montparnasse. And i was delighted. Now i drop by here and there but for myself : Food is very nice and host are amazing. what else ?

My favorite betting vegetarian restaurant. A must in its field, rich dishes prepared with fresh products. We ate a walnut roti with baked potatoes and a big jelly, the second dish is a polenta with a gaspacho and lentils. Everything's cool and great! Fresh fruit juice with good fruit! A treat

An unpublished place, Aquarius is a temple of vegetarians and vegans, hidden in the heart of the 14th century. Tasty cuisine with exceptional reception by the owner himself. Thank you!
