The food was really bad : sticky soup, viscous chicken... Even if there is a 10 or 12€-menu, it does not Worth it !
Don't go out of your way to eat there. We don't think we will go back. They offer some specials, but the food wasn't great, but it was what you would expect from an Asian restaurant in France. The pork with black mushrooms and bamboo shoots was mostly black mushrooms and only four pieces of pork which were very chewy. The waitress was nice and polite, but that didn't make it for the meal.
Last summer, my family and I spent 5 days in Paris at the Hotel du Levant in the Latin Quarter, and quite enjoyed Fou Thai, which is located across the street from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! We fed a family of 4 (with 2 teenage boys) for only 45 euro for dinner ... a very reasonable price for downtown Paris. We also have a son with a peanut allergy, which they were able to accommodate. Their English isn't very strong, but we had cue cards written in French, which helped a great deal.
We had a menu for 10€ and I have to say it was very good for this price. As a starter we had delicious "patee", onion soup and grilled goat cheese which was very tasty. For a main dish we appreciated Raclette-cheese and ham for grilling. Chicken and steak were good. Apple tart, chocolate mousse and creme broulee were pleasant end of the lunch. It wasn't a problem at all when rain started and we changed the table.
