Evi Evane - Paris

My husband and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a late dinner after a long train ride. It was perfect - a cozy atmosphere and wonderful food. The stuffed peppers were the best I've ever had, and the baklava was delicious.

Stopped in once and then a second time during our week in Paris. Very nice place, fresh food and well prepared. The staff is very helpful. Only Greek wine, so if you want French wine look somewhere else.

Every time I am in Paris, (my daughter lives in Paris, so visit often) I have to visit and eat at Evi Evane! Best Greek food with a French twist..being a Greek American I am familiar with all the dishes, unbelievable moussaka- unbelievable tender octopus, dips - what an array served with toasted pita bread. Service cannot be better, but make a reservation, not too many tables, ambience superb as well...while we are at it, don't skip the incredible desserts, baklava, galaktopita!

Compared to past years:- higher prices not justified by increased quality or service- usually one waiter only thus long waiting time- less space (more tables added)- extra price for pita, no olives as appetizers or small cake with coffee or bill (not really important, but elements of the past nicer atmosphere).Still going? Yes, but not so often and regretting the previous Evi Evane.

One of the best place to eat greek traditionnal meal. Every dishes are tasty, cooked with greek herbs and fresh vegetables, main dishes are just amazing. service was good.
