Feedback gevenVery good! a five for me is quite rare so that this was still very nice for us. because there was a continuous service restaurant we went early and it was nice and quiet for our family beige the place filled. we had the menu. that was a prix fixe. they had three flats. we had the ham and kesekrepp as starter. rindfleisch bourgogne for our main and followed with dessert by crème brûlée. we had a great time, sammy was patient with my poor French, but I had to switch against him immediately to English, which I appreciated! many thanks!
Did not know much because cheap price eur menu) but the food and service turned out to be more than fantastic and it was better than some of the more expensive restaurants. if they are looking for a good place for a cursor menu. I can rebuild this place.
We had the worst meal in Paris! Very unfriendly service, cold food directly from the fridge, we had to ask to heat our dish. don´t go there!!
We wondered what this would be like after reading some of the reviews which suggested it had gone down hill and wasn’t as good. We ate there three times in our eight days in Paris on this trip. The atmosphere is still as wonderful as...ever. Still very French. Extensive menu and helpful staff. The meal on the first night was REALLY GOOD. The big lunch the four of us had on Sunday was the best meal we had in Paris by far and it was under euros, including drinks. We ate in some very highly recommended and expensive restaurants on other days. None of them was anywhere near as good the Chalet St Michel’s Sunday offerings. Our third meal, on Thursday lunchtime wasn’t quite so great, but it was still OK (and better than anything else we had in Paris). Go here, try the cheaper combination menus. Superb value for money.
It had been over a year since we visited the restaurant but our first welcome was very warm, despite the busy time of day. My husband brought me back to Paris for my birthday and top of my wish list was the Chalet St Michel...as I had very fond memories of a previous visit. It more than lived up to those memories, all three times we ate there (and we were only in Paris for a week Our best meal was a fab onion soup, raclette, moules avec frites meal we all shared with a couple of verre aux vin and lovely fresh baguette. The waiting staff are fantastic and work so hard to make every persons experience the best it can be. I even heard the waiter giving some very good advice to two young girls about how to place their bags while eating to keep their bags secure. I hope to return soon x
