No doubt deserved stars michelin. very good attention from the host who received us, the sommelier and the mozos all very attentive and the spectacular food. We taste dishes in five times and all perfectly good. an authentic experience of dining in a restaurant in Paris with stars michelin.
Visited party of 2 on Tuesday night May 30th. Party of 2. we were late 30 minutes, came at 8, restaurant was empty at the time, filled up within an hour. Ordered 2 9 course tasting menus (euro 140 pp) and a 110 euro bottle of wine. Food was good but not wow and 2 misses.One dish included turbot with white asparagus and mushrooms. asparagus was overcooked. and would turn into a mush when cutting. Showed to the waiters who speak English poorly: response "yes we make asparagus very crisp". Explained, they say we will recook asparagus. at other Michelin places if chef redoes the dish, they redo the whole dish. we got another serving of asparagus, no protein and cooked even worse. after this request waiters stopped smiling and stopped coming back to top up wine glasses. For desert, mille feuiles had dough that was burned and bitter. waiter said that chef does it intentional. Finally, Everyone in the restaurant got a complimentary amuse bouche from the chef a viicchisioa, except for us. asked waiter about it, response everyone is having 5 course menu and the chef wanted us to have a different starter. Pointed out to waiter that we did not get any amuse bouche, just straight 9 courses. in fact a sorbet to clean the palette in between was counted as a course as well. At the end of meal not asked if wanted tea or coffee. I was then charged 7 euro for single espresso. Most places do include coffee and tea with tasting menu. definitely not a michellin star experience. Please note that chef and most stuff do not speak English.
