Ristorante Costa d'Amalfi - Paris

Nous cherchions un endroit pour dîner, au sortir d'une expo, ce jeudi soir, au Musée d'Orsay...Et nous avons trouvé par hasard cette excellente adresse...Une vraie bonne cuisine Italienne, servie avec chaleur par de vrais Italiens qui aiment leur métier.Emincé de poulpe délicieux, Saltimbocca divins.Desserts agréables.Vins impeccables, avec un patron capable de vous servir, à la demande, un vin "monocépage", bravo.seul bémol: Attention, ce n'est pas très grand...réservez ou venez tôt.

We were heading for Musee D'Orsay and just spotted this gem. It was just before 13.00 so we were lucky to get a table as before we were warmly welcomed and seated the rest of the tables were quickly occupied. It is split level with four cosy tables just up the stairs where Conversation is quiet and has you wishing to linger longerThe chef comes from Argentina, our server a caring and efficient warm hearted Polish lady while in overall charge of an Italian with charm and a ready smile.. The food was "value on a plate " and my fish was cooked to a very high standard - so many time fish by the time it reaches the table is "well dead "and not as refreshing and "Moreish" as I totally enjoyed here.We had no intention of having dessert but on seeing their offering on an adjoining table - we happily indulged.Good food, atmosphere and not too hard on the pocket with smiles, laughs and good service - what more can we ask for!We could ask for shorter Queues for the Musee especially when have paid for tickets but the enjoyment of the lunch helped us stay calm as the queue slowly shuffled forward so nearly an hour later we got in.Of course you could do the Musee first and come here for Dinner . We would have happily returned for Dinner but were flying out that night but will be back when next in Paris.

Overcooked pasta overcooked langoustine but very good mozarella for the antipasti . You can go on Your own responsibility So so...
