I was arrogantly told wrong information about the haring (that salt preserving cooking), that only unpasteurized cheese is...any good so of course we only serve unpasturized and if you must insist on pasteurized and cooked (so I didn 't miscarry), I 'll give you the salad part of the entree i.e. The decoration only. Then proceeded to watch my lunch get reheated from various containers as it was pre-cooked. Admittedly for reheated food it wasn 't bad but this isn 't what I expect from a dining out experience. Between the arrogant host and the average reheated food, it is definitely worth finding elsewhere to dine given how many great lunch menu options are around marche d 'aligre eg restaurant Will, Table d 'aligre. Avoid.
While searching for cooking classes in Paris, I stumbled on a review of Miss Lunch, and after checking it out, decided to make a reservation. My friend and I were delighted with the tiny spot run by Miss Lunch herself. The food was outstanding, the...prices fair and the service was good. Located in a wee storefront, the restaurant has only about 5 small tables inside and several outside. Warning: the restroom is located in the cellar, through a trap door behind the front desk and down a steep flight of stairs....but it all added to the experience. Would definitely visit again.
We discovered this restaurant by chance. the concept of the restaurant we liked, the room is intimate and pretty, the products are fresh, the kitchen is good and made in front of us, everything looks authentic and the service is very pleasant. We regret, however, high prices for low-lying dishes (and lemonade house quite expensive), limited choices on the map (maybe that 3 entrees and desserts instead of two of each would be appreciable because we did not find a dish really to our taste) and little communication from the owner (who nevertheless seems quite charming). We were satisfied but not marked.
Amazing, succulent, fresh products, creative dishes, second visits to this restaurant a feast of flavors, smiling staff, a small restaurant room super pleasant, fast service, than happiness!! bravo miss lunch....
The owner is very gracious. We came here our first night in Paris, all jet lagged, and the owner gave us a great meal. The place is tiny, and she offers a meat and vegetarian option. We enjoyed everything and felt it was a great meal at a great price. This is a real find for a vegetarian-not many restaurants make much effort with vegetarian meals, and this one really does.
