Lobster and Beef

Close to the hotel l’edmond it is a small jewel that meets every need. service is great and the staff is wonderful!

We stayed at l’edmond hotel next door, and the breakfast was served in 1868. breakfast with not too many decisions quality was good so we enjoyed.

That tried for a family dinner and we were thrilled: the menu was an imaginative, brighter, seasonal, more creative in a cozy but not more austere atmosphere. we started with fresh and contrasted tartare de dorade, marinated lisette and delicious longustines. followed by a deliciously subtle (oh...to rare duck magret, a fine lobster au bleu, and calf sweets that were so crisp and elegant that even my family usually ran over them in an indisquisitive way. all accompanied by a 2001 st estephe one of the briefly carefully selected and correctly award-winning wine list. and then the unexpected shade at the end of the meal. thanks to the quality we had space for what certai ly counts among the best desserts we had for a very long time: melted rhabarb with green apple sorbet was subtle, exciting and tantalizing; a cubist the Thai chocolate creation with ingwereis was luscious, without invasive, really sensual; and the aubergine confit crisp and gently salty in a cream de lait was a funny finale. rarely for me, on this wise to rave 1868 very deserves almost a 5, perhaps the service could be a little smarter. (and let me back in a plug for lafourchette.com through it gave us 30% out of the total bill, so there is a very reasonable evening out.

Un moment entre amis en accord parfait avec le déjeuner, nous avons profité dans un cadre authentique et moderne. Les plats sont fins et recherchés avec une qualité des produits irréprochable. Le personnel est à la fois discret mais présent.Bravo d'avoir réunis convivialité et gastronomie à votre table !

Décoration moderne et épurée, cadre bistro-chic. Accueil sympathique. Concept Terre-Mer agréable mais pas novateur. Les produits sont d'excellente qualité, le bœuf est un régal. L'incontournable ! Les choux maison, délicieux. La carte des vins est exagérée en terme de tarif pour un restaurant de cette gamme. Restaurant intéressant, cependant nous ne reviendrons pas.
