Brasserie de la Madeleine

Bien situé, brasserie parisienne typique mais avec bonne cuisine. Très bon hamburger brasserie et serveur tres sympa

We went to have lunch there before visiting the church and they took total advantage of us! We asked for water and they brought Evian which was 4.8€ a bottle! The Evian bottle looks exactly the same as the bottle for free water so we never noticed and ordered a second one which they opened in front of us which was when we noticed! In looking around others had the free water on their tables! When we got the bill we realized that they also had brought us salad and fries with our meals and charged 3€ for each! When we complained to the waiter he kept pointing to the menu to show us the cost and even though we hadn't ordered it they brought it and charged us. Even the manager would not take any of it off. In the end we were over-charged by 24€! They took advantage of the tourists! This was the only restaurant in Paris, of the many we went to that did this to us. Never again will we go there!

Nel nostro soggiorno a Parigi ci siamo fermate tre volte a pranzo.La posizione è ottima e per staccare la giornata il luogo è delizioso.Abbiamo notato che non è molto frequentato da turisti e questo ci è sembrato buono.Tutte e tre le volte abbiamo mangiato delle ottime insalatone una diversa dall'altra.Il cameriere è sempre stato gentilissimo.Abbiamo aspettato un po' prima di essere servite,ma il locale era sempre pieno...prezzo un po' alto,ma nella norma della città

Ci ero già stato e ci sono tornato: ho trovato la qualità che mi ricordavo e per questo lo consiglio a chi vuole mangiar bene in un locale non troppo raffinato ma comunque appagante.

Nice location to have lunch or diner , but nothing special ! Very expensive ! The service sucks! The waiter was so desperate to get some tip that he literally without asking took the change from the table while we still there and finishing our meals !
