Latarte - Paris 2e Arrondissement

After stalking this place on instagram for a while I finally made it.

A small shop but the pie was so good it swallow your tongue once you tried. Highly recommended please go and try out for a good healthy lunch.

My wife follows Latarte on instagram and we had to go there while we were in Paris. I am glad we did. The little cafe was very nice and the owner was charming. The food was outstanding. I had the ham, cheese and onion tart and my wife had the tomato and cheese tart. Both were unbelievable with the flakiest of crusts. The salad was also excellent with a very tasty light dressing. To top it off, the desserts were not to be missed. Please take the time to visit this gem in Paris. You will be delighted.

Even though it was a bit late, we could still get a very nice petit dejeuner with a great brioche, good coffee and the best fresh orange juice I've had in a long time. Lunch was being prepared and the smells were delicious.
