The owner was very friendly and helpful. We were really pleased that we stumbled across this restaurant instead of the many tourist traps in the area
We were excited to try Corsican food on our trip to Paris and prefer places that tourists would not usually congregate. This was perfect, lovely rustic food lovingly prepared. We were the only non-French guests, but the owner treated us as though we were family, joking and recommending items for our meal. We had her select our wine to complement our meal and the Corsican red she selected was spot on, mellow and fruity with just enough tannins. Cassoulet was unlike any other I’ve had in that it was not baked and soft, but was startlingly delicious. My husband had the whole grilled fish, which arrived with a flourish and a flaming piece of rosemary on top. First courses were grilled razor clams and a soft sheep’s cheese with tomatoes, mint , and an excellent olive oil. Dessert was described as cottage cheese, but was really a skyr or yogurt, topped with Corsican honey, and a candied clementine orange in brandy. This was a highlight of our trip.
We were intrigued by corsican cooking. Food was OK. Service somewhat indifferent. Expensive for what it was. Owners may be a little long in the tooth, it needs freshening up
I went here with my mum last night. We had walked the whole day and were absolutely shattered, so very happy to stumble upon this place! Due to August being the workers' holiday month our server explained that Paris is v. quiet, which is the reason we were the only diners in there. We believed that as the food was fantastic! I had the lasagne followed by stewed peaches. Neither of us were drinking and we had the most beautiful Corsican clementine juice. I would highly recommend this establishment for both the food, the restaurant itself and our server who provided great chat.
For a meal among colleagues, we were looking for a restaurant in the marsh, and opted for it at the last minute. The kitchen and food are probably of Corsican origin, but the reception is rather too familiar, at the limit of the impolitesse. The kitchen is correct, but rather not copyy for a fairly high price. A few concrete examples experienced by each person during the dinner: the order of non-alcoholic beverage is worth the small title, not the need to ask for mustard because it "no need of it", the pig "who has been simmering for hours" leaves more bones in the plate than meat. only positive: we had the right to additional fries that were not added to the note. I don't recommend it.
