Flament - Paris 9e Arrondissement

Our daughter asked us to bring croissants home to the USA so we scoped out this bakery. We arrived at 7 am the day of departure to load up and take these delectable goodies with us. The smell of the freshly baked goods could be detected as soon as we turned the corner and our noses led us the rest of the way. We enjoyed one walking back to the hotel and will enjoy more for breakfast tomorrow. They have a great selection of baked goods and a friendly staff. An excellent bakery!

For me and my wife this bakery was the not-so-talked-about places to visit we discovered during our Paris visit. The croissants, pastries, macaroons and the coffee were all amazing. The friendly and energetic ladies that run the bakery like a well-oiled machine make the experience even better. The lines of customers were proof enough of this establishment being a local favorite. We visited twice a day every day of our trip, and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Paris.

We loved having breakfast here every morning for a week! Espresso and fresh-squeezed OJ, pastries to die for. Heaven on earth!

Our apartment was right across the street from the Boulangerie and it always had a line. Everyone spoke french, and we were obviously some of very few tourists in the group. The service was typical parisian and the pastries were quite tasty. Prices we normal but not exceptional. We very much enjoyed their Gallete de Roi (sp? while we visited.

Very nice bakery. It was not far from our flat and almost every evening we looked in to treat ourselves to pastries and cakes which were magnificent , especially a round chockolate and raspberry mousse pastry and raspberry mille-feuille. Also, we tried some bread with different seeds and corn. That was very good, too. I can definitely recommend this backery-boulangery for all who stays at Grand Boulevards.
