We also ordered waffles and ice cream for dessert. When the waiter brought the dessert, they rudely threw the waffle on the table without asking who ordered it. When I went to get extra cutlery, I encountered the same rude waitress who gruffly asked if everything was okay. Overall, it was a bad experience and I don't think I would risk repeating it. The staff, particularly the waitress, needs to improve their behavior in the dining room.
The restaurant used to serve delicious food, but our recent experience was disappointing. The $140 we spent on the meal was not worth it as the food was oily, disgusting, and terrible. The black bell pepper dish we ordered was supposed to be healthy, but it tasted deep-fried and had no flavor. The dish was dry and we couldn't even stomach the sauce that came with it. My father's meal seemed to be tainted with something off, as both he and I felt sick after eating it. Overall, the restaurant needs to improve their quality of food and service.
I was searching for a lively spot to celebrate with friends. Unfortunately, the bar staff were unfriendly and impolite, especially Deb, who was particularly rude in the public bar. I did not feel welcome at all and would not recommend this place for a casual drink. The employees seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers, often ignoring or talking over them while serving.
Christmas recreation are great and the pa surely provided both a great spot and tasty, worth for money light lunch. the menu offered enough lunch options to please all our group.
It's been a while since I came to the PA for a meal. My last visit was for a lunch special and I have nothing good to say about that, it was an 8 dollar roast of the day lunch special. It came with two...small, thin slices of pork, a tablespoon of watery gravy, and a few vegetables. I hope they've fixed this up. However. It had been a while and I thought it was time to try their meals again, we went on Tuesday night and it was a buy one get one free deal. I tried the Seafood Basket and some of my wifes Chicken Pastry and they were both delicious. Seafood baskets have generally fallen into the realm of cheap frozen seafood with too many chips, but this was a nice change. If it was frozen, it seemed as though the quality of the product was a lot better than usual. The salt and pepper squid was the softest I'd had in a long time. The battered prawns were crisp and delicious, the fish was nice. The chips were good and the salad was even quite nice. My wifes chicken and garlic pastry was a good serving size and it was really rich and creamy. Overall all meals on the table were presented really well and I think the PA may be coming back up again.
