Café Terigo - Park City

This has been a spot me and my wife visit often for our anniversary or other special occasions. The prices can be pretty steep but the food is always superb.

They were out of half of the things on the menu and don’t tell you before you order. My boyfriend specifically picked this because he wanted the scallops for his birthday and they were out. I then ordered a dessert for him and of course they’re out and they took it upon themselves to pick a new one for us that we didn’t even want instead of asking us what our 2nd choice was. So that was a waste. Food was just ok. Them being out of everything we wanted ruined our night. Food is just ok.

I thought I made reservations, but was not listed. However, the hostess was able to seat us immediately. I was relieved. We chose the Maccrostie Chardonnay which complemented all our dishes where we ended up with two bottles. It was so good.The calamari was fresh and tasty with two sauces and the charcuterie board for two served the four of us. Nice enough place and atmosphere is interesting mostly because it's right in the heart of Main Street in Park City. They have a nice outdoor patio and the dining room is reasonable — not too jammed in with tables. Food was very good but not an extensive menu, so somewhat limited choices, however everyone in our party found something they liked. They may have been having an off night because our food was not only not worth the price, but it was actually pretty gross. It’s too bad because the outdoor patio was lovely. My husband and I were really looking forward to our anniversary dinner and we were completely disappointed. The grilled artichoke was great, but our pasta dinners were not good.
