Viking Yurt - Park City

I've been on Viking Yurt twice, now we've loved our experience! So much that we gave it to our friends as a wedding gift. However, a member of our party has heavy food allergies and we would like to confirm that it is safe for them to feed on the grounds (it is up on a mountain!!! The number is no longer active, there is no email listed and I have reached 4 times in 3 weeks via their website. That's crazy! Every restaurant should have a communication line for this reason! Especially when so expensive and usually booked for a special occasion. I write this review in hope of an answer. Please contact me and I will delete this review.

The Viking Yurt is on the slopes that make it a unique experience for me. I came in shortly after lunch and could say there was a huge rush. You take reservations for dinner, so I would definitely look at that. You have a pretty good selection of drinks that makes for great fun on the mountain. I took a drink and sat in one of the Adirondack chairs and enjoyed the view. As you can imagine, the view of the height is beautiful.

Pretty fun experience, food is good, piano in the background. Just didn?t care so much for the service. More rush, rush, atmosphere instead of chill relax evening.

My wife and I had way too much fun. Atmosphere. Joy. Laughter. It is warm from the cold and something everyone needs to do at least once.

One of the best services I had ever have on the state the waitress were always aware of our needs, this is a small place but a big experience, starting with the ride to the restaurant to the top of the mountain, then the food is very tasty, I got a lot of new flavours since this is the first time I have Norwegian food, the atmosphere is very elegant with the piano player and the view that you have from outside the place, but it also has a twist of Viking fun. When you go to the bathroom be aware that is just a hole and be careful of big foot since the bathrooms are outside the Yurt, trivia FAQ this place was visited by the King of Norway during the 2002 Olympics.
