The Woodman - Parkend

My family ate here last Saturday. The burgers and trimmings were great. I had the vegan wellington but it was a quite dry but with soft/soggy pastry more sauce or gravy would have been good. My son had a medium rare steak it was undercooked for his liking they offered a new one or to cook the one he had longer he had it cooked longer but said afterwards it was a bit below expectations. The staff were lovely and helpful. We asked if tips go to the staff and were told since new management had recently taken, over staff only got 50% of the tips! I wanted to tip the staff not the management. It will soon be illegal for management to do this, but the sooner they change that the better.

Food came out and it was cold spoke to the person in charge on front of house and they was very helpful and and changed our meal. Will go back again then next time I am in the area.

Myself and family came down to the forest on holiday, we went here for food herr. I WOULDNT BOTHER undercooked and made me very very very sick . AVOID . The fountain was lovely though Location: 4

Had a few drinks in this pub and I must say the the service is excellent
