Papa's Burgers - Parksville

Love this place. Easily one of the best burger places on Vancouver Island. My partner and I make a point of stopping here any time we are in Parksville and it's always been a great experience. The burgers are great, fries are good, and the shakes are amazing. A summer staple. I will note that the last two times I was here (early August and early September 2023), the quality has seemed to have dipped. A little less flavor, the burgers a little less flavorful and a little more messy to eat. That being said, I'm going to chalk it up to both times being very busy, still the best on the Island even when at their worst. Will keep coming back!

Tried this place for the first time last night and was thoroughly impressed.Despite being quite busy, the nice lady who runs things said kindly advised she’d be right with me.As a first time customer (and burger connoisseur lol) I ordered a single patty with cheese plain, coupled with an order of fries and onion rings to get the whole experience.The young men who work here are extremely polite and friendly. This (in my opinion) is an indicator of a well run business who really looks after their employees which is important to me.Was initially surprised by the reasonable price of my order and once I saw the quantity and high quality of food I received I must say I was thoroughly impressed. Great food at a great value never goes out of style and I salute Papa’s Burgers for this.While chit chatting with the awesome lady who runs things I mentioned how good it smelled while waiting for my order. She said if you like burgers you’ll definitely be back. So it’s only been a day since my first Papa’s Burger experience and I’ll be back there today for another fine feed before I depart Parksville.Lastly they bring your take out order right out to your car. Such a nice added touch of customer care makes me a big supporter of this truly local business.

I'm blowing away by not only the service I received, the affordable prices but just how darn good this Strawberry Milkshake was which I had with a poutine! Thanks Papa's! Definitely be back.

Wow! The best burger and fries I've had in Years! Great service too! I dare you to order a large fries. I can't overstate how awesome the food is. Our new go to when we're in Parksville.

We went to this burger place because of the reviews and WOW! What great burgers. We got the halibut burger with fries and the chicken burger with poutine. They tasted AMAZING and FRESH! Highly recommended to anyone who are nearby and wanting a burger.
