Lovely and pleasant with a very 'green ' vibe and philosophy. Food was interesting and tasty. Healthier options available for those looking. Friendly staff and the owner is clearly passionate about her project. Worth visiting!
What a lovely surprise being invited for coffee at Brik Cafe. I love the minimalist industrial feel of the place. The staff was friendly and competent. The menu is interesting and tempting. I enjoyed a Bircher muesli breakfast dish and my companion order a slice of banana bread which he enjoyed as well. I will be back.
Situated inside an old fire station in Rosebank, Brik is not your typical cafe. It is quaint and inconspicuous when viewed from the outside. Inside it a minimalistic and practically furnished. The patrons, on the day I was there, ranged from students to older hipsters. The staff is friendly and efficient, but best of all they don't know hover over you while you socialise and eat. The menu is varied and well-thought-out, ranging from traditional to vegan. There are various merchandise and items on offer to buy. The food is great and tasty. The coffee is superb, prepared by a barista no less! Portions are medium size. Prices are mid-range to pricy, well worth it depending on your taste. Visit and decide for yourself, but leave the pretence on the pavement.
Interesting menue with tasty food, pity they ran out of lots of the menus items on a Sun morning. Not so good for a Sun breakfast if little is available. Focusing a bit more on vegan and vegetarian dishes which is great
