Hungry Pecker Brewing

I like this place. It's quite large inside and out with a good ambiance either way. A good tap list lots of beer types and ABV ranges (I no longer want 7% beer).Love the small nook with the sofa.The downside is a lack of food. There was just one truck outside when we were there, The Wingpro. Good wings but if you don't want that, you're out of luck. I understand the particular truck changes out? I don't know.Recommended as long as you're not hungry. Otherwise, it's hit or miss.

Just a bit past the old town you'll find a brewery called Hungry uhh, good lord *looks around to make sure the coast is clear* you'll find Hungry Pecker. What are we a 14 yr old? He said Pecker! *Beavis n Butthead laugh* hhuhuh-,huhuhuhuhu Just off the bat, I really liked their easy drinking red beer, Red Headed Stranger, and Amarillo After Midnight IPA. The shandy was excellent for a hot day. I think there was something wrong with the No Show Jones IPA. The nose and flavor conjured epoxy. It probably shouldn't have been served. Maybe just a bad batch? I'll let someone else figure that out. But yeah plenty of other decent brews to try and a cozy outdoor area. Worth a stop in your EG beer adventures.

While driving through Elk Grove, planning to stop by the newest Dust Bowl brewery, which unfortunately wasn't opening till much later today, I drove right by this place, immediately made a u turn, to give it a try. Still laughing over its unique name. Since i still had to drive home, i settled on trying the red headed stranger, for many reasons, but always enjoy a good red ale, and this one didn't disappoint, very good and flavorful red. Even took a can to go! A good choice of different style of beers, definitely worth trying when you're in the area, Elk Grove has quite a few breweries in the downtown area, so don't settle for just trying one. From what I saw, there's at least 3-4 real close to each other. Enjoyed having some rain in Cali. More new adventure! God bless and Cheers!

I feel very cozy here , the atmosphere is perfect, the vibe is right , this place is so very well taken care of , I like it here very much.

Cold beers a plenty, good selection, check the calendar for events, and other stuff going on.
