Due Platani - PARMA

If you only have time for one meal in Parma, this is it. So simple but traditional and delicious. You feel like a local when you eat here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and if I'm ever back in the area I will definitely be back!! By farm the best meal we had on our 2-week Italy trip.

We got this place recommend from the chef of a restaurant that we ate at the day before. We wanted genuine Italian emilia-romagna well cooked food. And that is exactly what we got!! Amazing lunch at at restaurant that has roots back to the 1920’. Really nice and friendly staff and dishes that was typical for the area and well prepared. This is the real Italia and the know what they are doing! So happy that we managed to get at table since we heard that it is really hard to get one. So book in advance! Must visit if you want the real deal!

Superb upper market Trattoria. A must visit if you are in the Parma region. Very high quality dishes, from their Antipasto, delicate light homemade Pasta dishes, top quality mains, freshly made ice cream prepared at the table with various different toppings, excellent wine list and exceptional service. Very nice ambiance, but be warned booking is essential, highly recommend
