Chatkazz Sweets & Namkeen - Parramatta

Only hype no taste. Food taste is on sweater side. Didn't like any food we order that include pav bhaji, dosa and chat. So disappointed......

Chatkaaz has been long waited for. My friends who know authentic Indian food swear by it. I was told that this place was good for their snacks and street food. My friends ordered a whole heap of dishes, easy to do when a lot of the dishes are approximately $10. The food was satisfying with delicious spices and unwholesome fried variety. They had a dish that was a sandwich coated in batter and fried. Would recommend for a proper Indian food experience.

This restaurant is situated close to harris park station and has all the Indian food one would want to have. From starters to snacks to mains to sweets your appetite for Indian food will be satisfied. We ordered paneer tikka masala with naan and though it looked quite orange it was yummmy. Since I love aloo paratha also ordered for it. But it took time to arrive and was very bad. The filling was of the normal samosa not the paratha type. Service is good and pricing is ok. Only the aloo paratha quality needs to improve. Will definitely visit to satisfy my Indian cravings here.

Highly overrated and mediocre place. Everything I ordered for was ****. Chinese soup was sweet, sweetcorn soup which is supposed to be sweet tasted like sugar syrup. Ordered a dosa which is supposedly their speciality had half cooked vegetables... Im sure there will be many other places you will get good food but dis one way far from being average.. Only gud thing was service.. It was quick enough..

So i visited the shop on sunday and bought indian sweets.. kalakand and moti chur ladu. the moti chur ladu was ok in taste and texture. but the kalakand was terrible. it was recommended by the guy at d counter and was a mistake i made. i wish someone wud read this review and make retaste what is recommended and sold. disappointed!
