El Portal - Pasadena

My wife and I visited El Portal Restaurant on a Friday afternoon about 2:30. It was not very busy. We were greeted in a friendly manner and seated where we requested. The waitress came right away and took our drink order. My wife and I both ordered the same thing, the combination plate with a cheese enchilada ranchera, a chile relleno and a beef taco, with beans and rice. Our order was served promptly and courteously. The food was nicely prepared and presented, and it tasted very good. We spent about an hour in the restaurant. The waitress was good about checking on us and refilling our drinks. We have eaten in this restaurant before I am I am sure we will be back.

Great location and great food and drinks! I highly recommend El Portal. It is a great place to celebrate family milestones or meet up with friends for lunch or happy hour!

A favorite place of my entire family. El Portal is always a fun place to relax, enjoy the best margaritas and tequila, amazing Yucatan cuisine, and of course the best bar and bartenders! We love everything about El Portal, but mostly its people!
