My 1st time trying this Mom Pop Shop, and really GLAD I DID!! ???? If you 're a Fuller or PCC student, you NEED to know this! It 's reasonably priced Mexican that 's super fresh delicioso!!???? I 'd just seen a movie at the Regency ACADEMY across thestreet, so it was a breeze to just walk over here to eat. It 's upstairs, along with 3 or 4 other eateries. I enjoyed sittingoutside, with a view of Mt. Wilson (getting It 's sunset glow on , even a peek at Pasadena 's spectacular City Hall to theWest. I only tried 2 tacos one fish, the other chicken. Both were OUT of this world!! My photo doesn 't do it justice 'cuzI 'd already eaten at least HALF the well seasoned chicken before I thought to photo it!???? That piece of fish was SO fresh, itjust melted in my mouth! (No fishy ness to it either. Everything was super FRESH, friendly service, excellent flavors quality! Let 's please keep these still affordable, quaint small kitchens in business!! Please spread the word! I don 't want usto lose this little gem on the East side of Lake!

Walked in early afternoon on a super hot day because with a craving for a shrimp cocktail. The place was empty and so hot, no ac. I was taking the food to go so I didn't mind. Once at home we started to eat our meal. The shrimp cocktails was so bitter,maybe from the Citrus or cucumber, just unedible. My daughters fish and chips was soaked in grease, so much one to the platecompartments filled with oil. Don't waste your money in my opinion. To think I even left the solo worker a tip makes me upset.

One of the best fish and carnitas tacos ever tried. The owner truly puts his heart into his cooking. The price is very very affordable yet with generous serving. Definitely a hidden gem
