Slater's 50 50 Pasadena

My man and I went here after our visit to the norton simon museum. it was our first time at the location pasadena. we expected a busy, active scene, but we were not too happy to find out that there was absolutely no seats that did not show with a tw, either the NBA finals or a motorcycle auction really? . we expected the old menu that allowed personalized burgers, but obviously ended when the chain was sold and a great disappointment franchise. the burgers and garlic fryers were as delicious as we remember, but the menu is no longer unique or special. all in all, I would return for a fast bite or a raised burger, but not for a romantic date night.

We're here before a concert. they said they had no white wine and then after we all had ordered something else, they showed up with a bottle of white. too late. it was also cold and tasty. maybe they were just busy because of the concert, but it was just not a good experience overall.

Our waitress was amazing! we arrived at a very busy night, there was a Taylor-Schnell concert in the rosenbrust and she ensured that we had our food and had a lot of time to get to our talk concert.

We were sitting on a table by the hostess who was a chair short and she said she didn't know how many of us there were. we also sat right at the doorstep and the design was very cold. that was the Mother's Day so it would have been nice to have a more beautiful experience. the service was slow and eating was only average.

Went in for a Mother’s Day Celebration! It started off well as far as getting our drinks, our appetizer and order in but service by our server was slow and frustrating. Had to ask him multiple times for things. At the end, he asked us if we had room for dessert and we indicated no and that we were done. All our plates were empty. We were waiting for the check but waited over five minutes for it. Then he came by again asking if we were all done and responded again and asked for the check. He dropped it off quickly, but when we had our payment out, he walked by it three times and ignored it. So we had to flag him down. Kind of a poor service experience for our first visit but the FOOD WAS AMAZING!
