Polo Pizza - Pascoe Vale

Worst experience ever. Ordered a Large Hawaiian Pizza. Sounds simple? Wrong! Received the wrong pizza that was freezing cold and was more than..........2 hours late. Made more than 5 calls to chase down the pizza. Revived a call that the pizza guy was out the front, the pizza guy was not out the front. Finally was woken up from my sleep at 2am in the morning to frantic knocking at my door, it was the pizza. The wrong pizza that was literally more than 2 hours late. It was cold. I refused to accept the pizza and demanded a refund. They refused. The pizza they delivered was some sort of meat lovers covered in chilli sauce that looked like it was found in a dump master. Cost me $25 and ruined my whole night!

I read reviews about Polo Pizza and really wonder if people are just writing bad reviews just for the sake of it and are not a real customer. I have been buying pizza from Polo pizza for over 10years. Firstly their service is fantastic and the owners are lovely people running a family busy. They take pride in making their pizza. If I have great service then I know I will be happy with my food. I am a loyal customer. I know they use fresh ingredients and always are busy. I think today in society people want everything in a click of a finger. If a pizza shop is busy then you know you will be waiting for some great pizza. I don't believe reviews online. I like to try something then make up my mind. Polo pizza make the best tasting pizza and I would highly recommend everyone to try it.

I have tried the pizza from this pizzeria multiple times. It is always delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant stays open late, making it convenient to visit after a late night at work or out in the northern suburbs before heading home. They also offer delivery within the surrounding area.

Terrible. The ham is tough and chewy. They are stingy with toppings and there is no sign of quality. I rarely waste food, but this was inedible. Overly salty with little flavor. A harsh critique for a truly awful pizza.

I called the restaurant at 5:35pm to order a large Capricciosa for delivery 2km away. I was informed it would take between 30-45 minutes for the delivery, which seemed reasonable for a Wednesday night. However, after waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes, I called back at 6:50pm to inquire about my order. I was told the driver had just left and should arrive within 5 minutes. The pizza finally arrived at 7:05pm, with the driver seemingly unfazed by the delay. Upon opening the box, I found the pizza to be cold at best. I had to warm it up in the oven for 10 minutes before eating. Despite the delay and temperature issue, I must admit that the pizza was delicious due to the great ingredients used. I would have given them a 1-star review, but I believe they need to work on improving their delivery times and ensuring the food is hot before serving.
