Love the Kani salad. Was already full with my previous meal but would love to ear sushi and maki nxt time. Price is right. Servers are nice????????????

Yumi, the server, is very friendly! My dog loves her! I have always always ordered their Kakiage because it's really good for its price. Affordable Japanese food, but the flavors are great. Even their katsudon and maki, they're good as well. Also their iced tea. I will definitely 100% come back to this place (as usual). Hahahahaha! ????????????????????????

I wasn't planning to buy there but it was one of the stalls that opened early. Since we still want to buy from other stalls we just got the following: Salmon Sashimi, Gyoza and Crazy California Maki. I wasn't able to try the gyoza but I'd definitely recommend the sashimi and maki. We weren't expecting that much since it's just a food stall but the salmon sashimi was really fresh. It's just 6 slices so it was 'bitin' but for 170php per serving, I wouldn't complain. The Crazy California Maki was also good - it's a bit crunchy. We all loved the topping (kani). And there are 8 pieces of maki per serving for 190php. So worth it.

It was my second time at Madison Commons last night, the latest food park addition to the Kapitolyo area. The place packs more than 20 food stalls with a good stretch of cuisines and mostly new players in the food business. Oneeesan for one, opens their very first here. This establishment offers familiar Japanese like sashimi, maki, donburi and ramen. Their tagline, Simply Japanese very much fits their objective.  My friend and I were not that hungry and so we got three dishes without rice. The Salmon Sashimi was good value, generously portioned and fresh for just Php 170. The Chicken Teriyaki was meaty enough and its flavor authentic good. The only one that we didn't enjoy much was their Takoyaki. It had too much flour and not much squid flavor to it. alwayshungry.ph
