Senju - Edsa Shangri-La - Pasig

Reyjohn: So I ordered the Tropical Delight (390 PHP) Pineapple, Passion Fruit, and Mango. It's a simple refreshing drink that doesn't impress in flavour or even presentation. The only selling point of this place is that it is located by the pool. If you enjoy lounging around by the pool for hours then add 1 point for a (3.0). During the afternoons the garden wing shades the whole pool area so expect a relaxing and cool atmosphere. eater.ph

Been here over a year ago but Senju remains to be a japanese favorite. Aside from its curated Japanese dishes, Senju has rooms where a family can dine japanese style-- sitting on the floor. Love :-)

One of the better Japanese restaurants I've dined in - if you want your sashimi fresh, this is the place.  It comes with a hefty price tag, will set you back between 4k-7k for a dinner for two, but ambiance is superb.  Recommended for date night, if you want to impress someone.  They also have big servings, 7 kinds of sashimi/sushi sets are not just 7 pieces in all, good for sharing (refer photo).  They also serve teppanyaki sets which you can have cooked in front of you, if you're able to grab that kind of table.  Just deducted half a point for service, sometimes it would take them awhile to come after you push the call button, but when they do get to you, they're very proper, friendly and accommodating.

I like the place a lot. From Ambiance itself tells that the experience is good. The food(the shashimis, sushis, and Tempura) have good taste. Meat for shashimi are mostly sweet or feels fresh.
