Feedback gevenGood Day! I would just like to report a bad experience of me and my family at Super Bowl of China Festival Mall, Alabang Branch today. One of our orders is the Dimsum Platter. My mom cut a small portion of the Siopao and gave me the rest of it. As I was chewing slowy because I was beginning to feel full, I saw a black ovular figure inside the Siopao. At first I thought it was just a chunk of pepper, but as I examined it closely, I figured out it was a large blowfly. I was so horrified when I saw it because it was so big and its wings and feet are still intact which means it was not even touched or examined before cooking. We called the attention of the manager and he said it will just me deducted from our bill. I think it was not enough since my mom already ate the portion she got and the bacterias carried by the insect are already present inside the Siopao. So I asked for a complain form because I was so eager to report this incident but the manager said that they do not have one, they only have a feedback form. The staff and the manager did not look as surprised as we are so we were wondering if these kind of incidents are normal to them. I was so furious because we were eating at a fine dining restaurant and not in a fastfood chain so we did not expect anything like this since we are also regular customers of superbowl. The only thing I regret is that I haven't got a chance to take a picture of the blowfly so that future customers might want to take a look at their food a little closely before eating. One of their staffs also revealed to us that they had the same incident 2 weeks before. I hope this would be a step for the management to take actions regarding this and sadly, we would never dare to eat in this restaurant again.
