La Reyna Market - Paso Robles

Super good tacos. I'm not sure, but they seem particularly good when they're done outside in the little Taco stand. Very nice people work there. Enrique was particularly helpful. He's a good guy.

I drove by and caught a whiff of the delicious chicken cooking on the outdoor grill, and I couldn’t resist stopping at this fantastic place. I had a good feeling about the food, thanks to the authentic atmosphere and what seemed like a strong Hispanic clientele. I was not disappointed. I ordered steak tacos, chicken tacos, and a tamale, all of which were excellent. The meat was smoked on the flat top, while the tortillas were warmed to perfection. The tacos were topped with just the right amount of onions, cilantro, and a brilliant salsa that made them perfect! The food was so delicious and the staff so friendly that we returned the very next day. Although we couldn't order from the meat counter, which looked incredible, we plan to come back soon.

I usually order the sweet corn from this restaurant through GrubHub because it's really tasty. However, this last time I ordered a jalapeño and cheese tamale, but instead, I received a whole chicken. Fortunately, I'm not a vegetarian, and the chicken was good, but I think the restaurant should be more careful about such errors. A mistake like that could be a big issue for someone who is preparing a meal for someone with dietary restrictions, like a vegetarian or someone who can't eat meat.

This restaurant serves the BEST burritos in town. The ingredients are all authentic, and the staff is consistently friendly.
