Feedback gevenThe Wagner's Restaurant is part of the old town hotel on the Danube/Inn. Although some of the guests are hotel guests, unlike some other locations on the Danube Bank, it is not a tourist resort with exhibitors in front of the restaurant with zick noon Fress Lock offers (under the week it has only opened in the evening. There are not so many places, I was amazed that it was pretty well occupied on a Monday night. A reservation makes sense. The restaurant has written good cuisine and slow food on the flags, which is why I looked a bit more accurate and I have committed to being a bit more strict (such as in a country guest house or spa town The restaurant has no own parking, under certain circumstances you can park in the hotel garage (only by agreement, otherwise only the garage at the Römerplatz (about 200 300m walkway). Normal access is not accessible at all (more steps, possibly can Use the hotel garage (from there there is an elevator. The toilets are one floor higher, but there is an elevator. They're not for wheelchair users. I was invited by my wife to a candle light dinner for my birthday, so there are some information I would do otherwise. BEDING: We were welcomed and led to our reserved table. Our jackets were removed and suspended in a closet. My wife ordered a menu, we got the menus to get the drinks left for the time. There were two services for us, one that brought us the drinks and one brought us the food. They were not uniform, but otherwise the clothes were fine. They did their work very well while the operation of the 1*1 operation was maintained (which I have not experienced so much for a long time). (i.e. from the right side, regularly pour water from the large bottle into the glasses etc.) It was regularly asked between the corridors how it tasted us and once in the main course also during the course. I wanted the 5. Star polish, but then there was the small point that leads to a small deduction in a restaurant of this kindness. At the main course there were cattle ends and there was not asked about the Gar degree. Maybe she could also read thoughts, because in the end the Gargrad (lightly less than medium) has exactly adapted me. My wife got pig to the main course so I couldn't underpin this thesis that her flesh would have been too ****. I also expect a certain extra for 5 full stars in such a place that I can hardly speak in words. So: fully earned and very good 4.5 stars ESSEN: My wife booked a menu that is not on the map. The kitchen takes care of preferences, aversions (e.g. no fish as in my case and also allergies). The normal menu keeps within pleasant limits, but there is something for everyone. The first course was field salad with cold thin duck breast discs. The ingredients were freshly seasoned, the dressage was fruity (both with small orange pieces. The second course was a bright cream with fresh herbs and thin radishes. The soup was hot in a beautiful soup cup. The consistency nice creamy, no trace of conviction, the herbs freshly cut (no dried herbs). Very good. The third band was beef steak with herbal crust with spray potatoes and glazed carrots. The meat was just under medium (as already written above, I was not asked, but it was very good for me. The meat was beautifully tender, no tendons etc. and of good quality. The carrots are freshly cut and finely glazed. The spray potatoes were a little too dark. There was minimal timing. And the crust of the flesh has a hint of too much salt. To do this, I still have to apply the salt/pepper tax on the table, which were simply 08/15 goods (with the rice grain in the salt and the table ash in the pepper tax). With this kind of restaurant you can expect a little more (e.g. a pepper mill or a beautiful menage where I didn't need it at all, but there are the indoctrinable self-worms. Because the restaurant has a somewhat higher claim, I also have to take a half-star here. If I had to decide between 4 and 5, it would be 5. But as I said, in such restaurants you look narrower. Conclusion for food: well earned 4.5 stars. (Really only for small things AMBIENTE: The restaurant makes a freshly renovated impression, it must also be renovated by a small Danube caused moisture damage (like all restaurants in this district. Small tables with poster-related chairs, some with armrest, some without (why actually?) there were also 2 fours with benches in the same design. The tables were a bit close together, so you have some of the neighboring tables. On the floor parquet, the walls in discrete colors with design lighting. (see also on the homepage). It made a cozy impression. On the tables heavy white tablecloths and fabric napkins of high quality. On the tables were candles. From the tables on the window you have a magnificent view of the Danube and the Veste Oberhaus. In the evening you don't see so much because the light is reflected in the discs. In front of the restaurant there is a terrace that was still in winter operation (and so was only used by the smokers). The terrace shows very light signs of use. But in the summer it is always cozy, especially since the terrace clearly above the footpath level, which is a view and b that serves a passer-by view of the plate. SAUBERKEIT: The restaurant (ground/table were clean after each guest changed the tablecloths. Cutlery and glasses were clean. Does actually make full score if I would not expect the particular extra for 100% (e.g. care equipment on the toilet, e.g. in the corfu next door The toilets were freshly cleaned, the faucet could have been slightly more polished (if you look very carefully and want to be strict. PLV: Because I was invited, I must pull the Joker now and not say. At least the beverage prices (which I could see when I moved the drinks at normal level. FAZIT: Do not stumble here while passing, here you go for a comfortable meal. I wouldn't go so easy with kids, but there are other locals. There were really always only small things that are really not relevant right now or that you feel happy. Overall, the overall impression is almost perfect, i.e. 4.5 stars.
Completely new and very harmonious. friendly, courteous service. great view of the water. eat everything fresh and homemade. corresponds to the beloved food idea. we went very uncomplicated on the lactose intolerance of my companion.
