An unusual little restaurant crashed halfway a steep road in passau, with a thick, vaulted deck and tons atmosphere. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by my meal a chili coffee, so about it was impossible to eat. my man ordered a pot menu and that was delicious. service was slow, although our waitress was polite, pleasant and helpful. she also offered to change my meal, although I refused. it was late, and my breath burned from my dinner.
Genuine German and local menu choices just like mother would make. Because “mother” does make them! We met the daughter who was happy to translate the menu for us because there is no menu in English. No problem. She is such a darling. While there...is schnitzel, they have pork roast in a delicious gravy with dumpling, a savory goulash, several other typical dishes and salads. Once in a while they serve a locally caught fish as a specialty. Located on a cobblestone alley away from the crowds, this little restaurant is cute inside and has several outside tables. Very traditional styled and friendly. As you might expect a family run business to be. If you prefer traditional cooking with a homemade touch, seating away from the shopping streets and a welcoming staff, take the time to find this hidden gem.
A tight place that offers reasonable food all from the region. Especially the Schnitzel is here famous but tell customer can chose between tasty vegetarian daily dishes or other Bavarian specialities. The drinks menu at a Bavarian Wirtshaus usually offers a wide variation of local beer and some tasty wine which is here the as to.This place is crouded from 7 pm till 1 am any time a year. Highly recommended for those who don't mind to share the table with strangers or to meet locals.
