Le Refuge De Plate - Passy

We arrived here after a long climb shortly after the refuge had opened at the beginning of the season. We wanted omelette and beer and that was what was on offer. The beer, Lug, was delicious and the omelette with cheese and lardons was very good. A huge platter of cheese followed with two pieces of chocolate pudding between four of us and two shots of genepi wonderful. A long steep walk back too.

We were a group of six. We slept well and ate very well. Much effort in the preparation of dishes. Only the sanitary would be to be improved.. dry toilet. water...but the location is very pleasant.

A night spent in the family shelter with 3 children aged 4, 9 and 11. Very nice experience and very good atmosphere.

Arid refuge located in the well known desert of Platé. The kitchen is succulent. The reception is a little rustral but is very fast. We'll be back
