A truly charming, small country pub with a warm atmosphere. The food is exceptionally good—far better than you might expect from a pub of this size. Everything is homemade, with no frozen or pre-packaged items, including the delicious desserts. The menu features a great variety of options and daily specials, catering to both vegetarians and vegans. It's advisable for vegans to call ahead, as the staff can then provide more tailored options. The service is friendly, and the pub is also dog-friendly!

I absolutely loved it! It was one of the best steak and ale pies I've ever had. The staff was really friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Very friendly and welcoming, dog-friendly pub. at the end of our local walk we thought we were a small bite to eat and drink and enjoyed the visit. Unfortunately, the beer was not quite scratching, but otherwise recommended as pub. they had 4 Cask beers on hahn, but perhaps less would be the ones that would provide a faster turnaround and guarantee a higher quality.

Had a fabulous roast beef dinner very nice. Good choice of vegetables come with the dinner in a seperate dish carrots broccoli cauliflower nicely presented. Friendly welcome and good service
